The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records January 18, 2018 SPR18/057; SPR18/076 Arthur Unobskey Town of Wayland Public Schools 41 Cochituate Road, P.O. Box 408 Wayland, MA 01778 Dear Supt. Unobskey: I have received the petition of Mr. Colman Herman appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Wayland Public Schools (School) to his requests for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Herman requested records pertaining to a financial penalty paid to the School by an identified individual. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Herman petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, | learned that the School had believed these requests to be associated with SPR17/1751. As these requests are not associated with SPR17/1751, the School is ordered to provide a response to Mr. Herman made in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Access Regulations and this order within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Herman may appeal the substantive nature of the School’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
