Merow Rubin Counsel to the Commissioner and Records Access Officer Massachusetts Division of Insurance 1000 Washington Street, Suite 8 10 Boston, Massachusetts 02 11 8-6200 Dear Attorney Rubin: I have received the petition of Jim Haddadin of the Metro West Daily News appealing the response of the Division of Insurance (Division) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, 5 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). I understand that subsequent to the opening of this appeal, the Division provided certain responsive records at no cost. Further, in a document attached to a February 20,201 8 email, Mr. Haddadin indicates that "I wish to withdraw, without prejudice, my Feb. 6,2018 appeal of the fee estimate provided by the Division of Insurance. Please be aware that I wish to reserve my right to file a subsequent appeal of this matter in the future." Accordingly, I will consider this appeal closed. Sincerely, V Rebecca S.
