G. L. c. 66, 5 1O A; -see -also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Dreslinski requested records related to a "sedan type cruiser vehicle." Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Dreslinski petitioned this offiee and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the proper agent for handling public record requests never saw the inquiry. Nonetheless, after the Department was made aware of this appeal, a representative within the Department noted their willingness to provide the responsive records. Accordingly, the Department is hereby ordered to provide a response to Mr. Dreslinski made in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Access Regulations and ths order within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electromc copy of this response to this ofice at pre@,sec.state.ma.us. Mr. DresImski may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety days.
