Silvia Records Access Officer Department of Correction 50 Maple Street, Suite 3 Milford. lVLA 0 17 5 7 Dear Ms. Silvia: I have received the petition of Mr. Cornelius Brown appeaIing the nonresponse of the Department of Correction (Department) to a request for public records. 6.L . c. 66, 5 10A; see & 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Brown requested records related to Probation Housing Units at MCI - Norfolk. Claiming to not yet have received a response, hk.B rown petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that a representative fi-om the Department has compiled responsive records, and intends on providing Mr. Brown with a response dated February 20,2018 . Accordingly, the Department is hereby ordered to provide a response to h4r. Brown made in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Access Regulations and this order within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@,sec.state.rna.us. h4r.
