Murray Supervisor ofR ecords March 8, 2018 SPR18/242 Claudia Arno Assistant District Attorney Suffolk County District Attorney's Office 1 Bulfinch Place Boston, MA 02114 Dear Attorney Arno: I have received the petition of Kevin Norris appealing the nomesponse of the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office (DAO) to his requests for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Norris requested records various police reports, including ones related to an armed robbery case. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. Norris petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that a representative from the DAO is working to generate responses concerning Mr. Norris's requests. Accordingly, the DAO is ordered to provide a response to Mr. Norris made in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Access Regulations and this order within ten business days. It is preferable to send electronic copies of these responses to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Norris may appeal the substantive nature of the DAO's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, ~~ Rebecca S.
