Vizard City Clerk City of Waltham 61 0 Main Street Waltham, MA 02452 Dear Mr. Vizard: I have received the petition of Chris Gamble appealing the nomesponse of the City of Waltham City Clerk (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On February 7, 2018 Mr. Gamble requested certain documents and communications between a series of identified individuals from the City of Waltham Law Department. On February 16,2018, the City responded to Mr. Gamble's request with an acknowledgement, but no responsive records. Having received no additional response, Mr. Gamble petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, this office was notified that Mr. Gamble's request was forwarded to the Office of the City Clerk. Due to the large volume of documents that were requested, the Clerk intends to provide Mr. Gamble with responsive records on a rolling basis as they become available. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the City's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Gamble may appeal the substantive nature of the City's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
