Massachusetts Port Authority 1157 Adams Street Dorchester, MA 02124 Dear Attorney Carvalho: I have received the petition of Steve Adams appealing the response of the Massachusetts Port Authority (Authority) to his request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1 OA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). On December 10, 2017, Mr. Adams requested copies of certain lease agreements. Unsatisfied with the Authority's response, Mr. Adams petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Specifically, Mr. Adams is appealing the Authority's response indicating "schedules and attachments were not included." Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that a representative from the Authority intends on providing Mr. Adams with a supplemental response. Accordingly, the Authority is hereby ordered to provide a response to Mr. Adams made in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Access Regulations and this order within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Adams may appeal the substantive nature of the Authority's response within ninety days.
