The Commopmwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records April 12,2018 SPRl8/393 Roger H. Randall, Esq. Tax Counsel Litigation Bureau - Department of Revenue 100 Cambridge Street 7~F loor P.O. Box 9565 Boston, MA 02 11 4-9565 Dear Attorney Randall: I have received the petition of Russel Seelig appealing the nonresponse of the Massachusetts Department of Revenue (Department) to a request for public records. 6.L . c. 66, § 1Q A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On January 25, 20 18, Mr. Seelig requested records pertaining to an identified individual. Having received no substantial response, Mr. Seelig petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a Public Records Division staff member, this office was notified that a supplenlental response was provided, dated April 11 ,201 8. This response addresses Mr. Seelig's concerns, and includes hard copy versions of all records that were issued in the Department's first response. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Department's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Seelig may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety days. See 350 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
