The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords April 23, 2018 SPRlS/461 Lieutenant William Hallisey Brockton Police Department 7 Commercial Street Brockton, MA 02302 Dear Lieutenant Hallisey: I have received the petition of Michael Dreslinski appealing the nonresponse of the Brockton Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Dreslinski requested price quotes and invoices, specifications/instructions and records identifying the font name(s) regarding the Department's most recently purchased police cruiser vehicles. Having received no response, Mr. Dreslinski petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, this office was notified that the request had not been received by the Department, however, when the request was provided by this office to the Department, a response was provided, dated April 20, 2018. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Department's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Dreslinski may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, ~~ Rebecca S.
