Box 4547 Salem, MA 01970 Dear Attorney Burke: I have received the petition of Benjamin Silva appealing the nonresponse of the Sex Offender Registry Board (Board) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, 5 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Mr. Silva requested a series of records pertaining to an identified individual. Having received no response, Mr. Silva petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, this office was notified that the Board had not received Mr. Silva's original request. Further, the Board provided a response to Mr. Silva on April 18,2018. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Board's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
