The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records April 24,20 18 SPR181528 Francis X. Wright, Jr., Esq. City of Somerville - Law Department Somerville City Hall 93 Highland Avenue Somerville, MA 02 143 Dear Attorney Wright: I have received the petition of Michael Dreslinslci appealing the nonresponse of the Somerville Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, 9 10A; -see -also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Dreslinski requested records regarding price quotes and invoices, specifications and instructions and font names of lettering on current Department cruiser vehicles. Having received no response, Mr. Dreslinski petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, this office was notified that a response was provided by the Somerville Law Department, on behalf of the Somerville Police Department, dated March 28,2018 . Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Police Department's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Dreslinski may appeal the substantive nature of the Law Department's response within ninety days. See 95 0 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
