The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords April 30, 2018 SPRlS/557 Deborah Friedl Deputy Superintendent Lowell Police Department 50 Arcand Drive Lowell, MA 01852 Dear Deputy Superintendent Friedl: I have received the petition of Michael Dreslinski appealing the nonresponse of the Lowell Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Dreslinski requested records regarding invoices, specifications/instructions and font names of lettering regarding Department vehicles. Having received no response, Mr. Dreslinski petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated April 23, 2018. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Department's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Dreslinski may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
