The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Reb'ecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords April 27, 2018 SPR18/570 Erik Blake Chief of Police Oak Bluffs Police Department 2 Oak Bluffs A venue Oak Bluffs, MA 02557 Dear Chief Blake: I have received the-petition of Todd Wallack appealing the nomesponse of the Oak Bluffs Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Mr. Wallack submitted his request on March 19, 2018. Claiming to have received no response, Mr. Wallack petitioned this office, and this appeal was opened as a result. Following the intervention of a Public Records Division staff member, this office was informed that the Department had never received Mr. Wallack's initial request. Regardless, a representative from the Department expressed their willingness to provide Mr. Wallack with a response. Mr. Wallack subsequently informed this office that he wishes to withdraw his administrative appeal. Accordingly, I will now consider this appeal closed. Sincerely, ~~ Rebecca S.
