The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervzsor of Records May 1,2018 SPR181598 Tonya Casey Administrative Assistant Fall River Public Schools 4 17 Rock Street Fall River, MA 02720 Dear Ms. Casey: I have received the petition of Timothy McGuire appealing the nonresponse of the Fall kver Public Schools (School) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. McGuire requested documents distributed to the Durfee Chapter of the Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) by the club's faculty advisor, and any documents exchanged by the GSA and Planned Parenthood. Claiming to have received no response, Mr. McGuire petitioned ths office, and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that School responded to Mr. McGuire's request with a response sent on May 1,2018 . Accordingly, as the basis of this appeal was the School's failure to provide a substantive written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. McGuire may appeal the substantive nature of School's response within ninety days. 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
