Massachusetts Department of State Police-Crime Lab 124 Acton Street Maynard, MA O1 754 Dear Attorney Collins: I have received the petition of Joshua Quaglia appealing the response of the Massachusetts Department of State Police (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Quaglia requested all records which relate to an identified individual and drug certifications submitted by the Worcester Police Department for alleged controlled buys on 3/17/2015, 3/21/2015, and 3/24/2015. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Department provided Mr. Quaglia a response dated May 18, 2018. Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Quaglia may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
