The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords May 23, 2018 SPR18/689 Kate Silvia Director of Public Records Executive Office of Public Safety and Security Department of Correction 50 Maple Street Suite 3 Milford, MA 01757 Dear Ms. Silvia: I have received the petition of Benjamin Silva appealing the nonresponse of the Department of Correction (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). On April 23, 2018, Mr. Silva requested various records pertaining to a specifically identified program in the Department. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Department provided Mr. Silva with a response dated May 23, 2018. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of Department's failure to provide a response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
