The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records June 5,2018 SPRl81777 Tom Mayo Town Administrator Hingham Town Hall 2 10 Central Street Hingham, MA 02043 Dear Mr. Mayo: I have received the petition of Neal Simpson appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Hingham (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, 5 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Simpson requested any settlements or other legal agreements resulting from or related to a specific fund transfer described in meeting minutes. Having received no response, Mr. Simpson petitioned this office. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, Mr. Simpson notified this office that the Town provided a response. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Town's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Simpson may appeal the substantive nature of the Town's response within ninety days. 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
