The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records June 14,2018 SPR181835 John Scenna Director of Public Works - City of Melrose DPW Operations Facility 72 Tremont Street Melrose, MA 02 176 Dear Mr. Scenna: I have received the petition of Ryan Bagwell appealing the nonresponse of the City of Melrose (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Bagwell requested records regarding the City's Traffic Commission. Having received no response, Mr. Bagwell petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated June 13,201 8. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the City's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Bagwell may appeal the substantive nature of the City's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
