The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records July 10,201 8 SPR181952 Alycia DeAngelis, Esq. Department of State Police - B6 - Northampton Barracks 555 N King Street Northampton, MA 0 1060 Dear Attorney DeAngelis: I have received correspondence from Adam Sanders appealing the nonresponse of the Department of State Police (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, 8 lO(A); see 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Sanders requested "any and all record(s) pertaining to #1999-113-0174 as defined in G.L c. 4 5 7. Including but not limited to all reports, supplement reports, written or record records, and photographs and/or sketches." As of the date of this letter, it is my understanding that the Department has not provided Mr. Sanders a response or records. A staff member of the Public Records Division informed me that the Department did not receive a copy of Mr. Sanders's initial request for records prior to their intervention. It is my belief that the Department is now aware of Mr. Sanders's request. Order Accordingly, the Department is ordered to provide Mr. Sanders with a response to the request, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations without delay. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@,sec.state.ma.us. Sincerely, Rebecca S.
