The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords July 13, 2018 SPR18/964 Arny Warfield Town of Burlington Town Clerk 29 Center Street Burlington, MA 01803 Dear Ms. Warfield I have received the petition of Shawn Harmon appealing the response of the Town of Burlington (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Harmon requested an "electronic copy of the entire 'town census resident extract' list also known as the 'extract #2' database." The Town responded to his request on June 27, 2018 by providing redacted records claiming portions of the records to be exempt from disclosure pursuant to Exemption (c) of the Public Records Law. G. L. c. 4, § 7(26)(c). Subsequent to the intervention by a Public Records Division staff attorney, I learned that while this appeal was pending the Town sent a supplemental response to Mr. Harmon's request including a "full umedacted version" of the responsive records on July 3, 2018. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Town's June 27, 2018 response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Harmon may appeal the substantive nature of the Town's July 3rd response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Sincerely, ~ Rebecca S.
