The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records July 12, 2018 SPRlS/0967 Sheila Harrity Superintendent-Director Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School 1050 Westminster Street Fitchburg, MA 01420 Dear Ms. Harrity: I have received the petition of Mark Hawke appealing the nonresponse of the Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School (School) to his request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Hawke requested "Executive Session minutes from the Policy Subcommittee of January 16, 2018 and the School Committee meeting of February 15, 2018." Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Hawke petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that a representative from the School intends on providing Mr. Hawke with a written response. Said response must be made in accordance with the Public Records Law and its Access Regulations within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Hawke may appeal the substantive nature of the School's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
