The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records July17,2018 SPR18/977 Kate M. Silvia Department of Correction 50 Maple Street, Suite 3 Milford, MA 01757 Dear Ms. Silvia: I have received the petition of Alyssa Wittkowski appealing the response of the Department of Correction (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Specifically, Ms. Wittkowski requested various categories of records related to an identified individual and the Department's transportation records. Ms. Wittkowski is reminded that the requirements for an appeal are as follows. An appeal shall be in writing, and shall include a copy of the letter by which the request was made and a copy of all correspondence from the custodian. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1)(g). This request was subject of a previous appeal. See SPRl 8/572 Determination of the Supervisor of Records (May 10, 2018). I closed SPRl 8/572 by ordering the Department to provide Ms. Wittkowski with a response her request, provided in a manner consistent with the order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations. In a letter dated May 15, 2018, the Department provided Ms. Wittkowski with another response, a copy of which the Department provided to this office. Whereas Ms. Wittkowski's appeal is based on the Department's March 1, 2018 response, which was previously addressed in SPRl 8/572, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Wittkowski may appeal the substantive nature of the May 15th response within ninety days ofreceipt of that response. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, ~ Rebecca S.
