The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records July 20, 2018 SPR18/1016 Adelaida Jasperse Records Access Officer Department of Children and Families Office of the General Counsel 600 Washington Street, 6" Floor Boston, MA 02111 Dear Ms. Jasperse: I have received the petition of Matthew Andrade appealing the non-response of the Department of Children and Families (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Andrade requested a number of records concerning an identified incident. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated July 17, 2018. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Department's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Andrade may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Lbiereo Rlecca S.
