The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords September 10, 2018 SPRlS/1279 Terri Bryce Hudson Police Department 911 Municipal Drive Hudson, MA O1 7 49 Dear Ms. Bryce: I have received the petition of Jorge Teixeira appealing the nonresponse of the Hudson Police Department (Department) to his request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Teixeira requested the "police log for the calls made and responded to on July 3, 2018 from 2PM to 4PM as well as the audio file along with any and all communication with Hudson Public Schools employees." Having not yet received a response, Mr. Teixeira petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that a representative from the Department intends on providing Mr. Teixeira with a written response. Said response must be made in accordance with the Public Records Law and its Access Regulations within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Teixeira may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, ~~ Rebecca S.
