Murray Supervisor ofRecords September 10,201 8 SPR1811280 Ken Lepage Easthampton Public Schools 50 Payson Avenue - Second Floor Easthampton, MA 0 1027 Dear Ken Lepage: I have received the petition of Margaret Monsell appealing the nonresponse of the Easthampton Public Schools (School) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, 5 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Monsell requested "a copy of any contract currently in force between the School District and any private vendor that the School District has engaged for the provision of food services for students," "any other agreements, memoranda of understanding of other documents governing the practices to be followed by the private vendor in circumstances where (a) a student is unable to pay for the cost of a meal or (b) the vendor claims that a student has received a meal for which payment has not yet been made," "a copy of any debt collection policy that the School District has for school meal debt," "a copy of any contracts currently in force that the School District has with any other entities engaged in collect school meal debt on its behalf, including but not limited to collection agencies, attorneys and constables," "a copy of any contracts currently in force that the School District has with any vendors that provide online management of funds paid on behalf of students for food services, including but not limited to these vendors: MySchoolBucks and PayForIt." As of the date of this letter, it is my understanding that the School has not provided Ms. Monsell a response to her request for records. Order Accordingly, the School is ordered to provide Ms. Monsell with a response to the request, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations without delay.
