The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords September 7, 2018 SPR18/1299 Alycia J. DeAngelis, Esq. Massachusetts Department of State Police Office of the Chief Legal Counsel 4 70 Worcester Road Framingham, MA O1 702 Dear Attorney DeAngelis: I have received the petition of Jose Arce appealing the nomesponse of the Massachusetts Department of State Police (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Arce requested information relative to search warrants executed at various addresses, specifically over a time period where a specific death occurred. Having received no response, Mr. Arce petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated September 6, 2018. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Department's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Arce may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
