Brandon Esip Town of Bourne- Police Department 175 Main Street Bourne, MA 02532 Dear Lt. Esip : I have received the petition from Eric Lehtinen appealing the response from the Town of Bourne Police Department (Department) regarding a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, 5 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On June 14,2018, Mr. Lehtinen made a public records request to the Department. Specifically, Mr. Lehtinen requested records pertaining to a traffic accident. The Department provided Mr. Lehtinen with a response on June 15,2018 . Mr. Lehtinen appealed the Department's response to this office on August 3 1,2018 . Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated August 3 l,201 8. Whereas the Department has released requested documents to Mr. Lehtinen, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Lehtinen may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, u Rebecca S.
