Murray Supervisor ofR ecords September 20, 2018 SPR18/1358 The Honorable Paul Heroux Mayor of Attleboro Attleboro City Hall - Office of the Mayor 77 Park Street Attleboro, MA 02703 Dear Mayor Heroux: I have received the petition of Roxanne Houghton appealing the response of the City of Attleboro (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Specifically, Ms. Houghton requested copies of emails sent by the Mayor to the City Council President. The City provided Ms. Houghton with a response on September 10, 2018. Ms. Houghton appealed the City's response to this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, this office was notified that a response was provided to Ms. Houghton. Ms. Houghton stated in an email on September 17, 2018 that she "will not be appealing any further." Whereas this matter was opened based upon Ms. Houghton appeal of the City's response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Houghton may appeal the substantive nature of the City's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ).
