Murray Supervisor ofR ecords September 27, 2018 SPR18/1372 Katelyn Hiitt Department of State Police 470 Worcester Road Framingham, MA 0 1 702 Dear Katelyn Hitt: I have received the petition of Seth Kershner appealing the non-response of the Massachusetts Department of state Police (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on July 6, 2018, Mr. Kershner requested "information related to use of force by troopers barracked in Western Massachusetts communities." At this time, the Department has not provided Mr. Kershner a response responsive to his request for records. Order Accordingly, the Department is hereby ordered to provide Mr. Kershner with a response to the request, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations without delay.
