Murray Supervisor ofR ecords October 1, 2018 SPR18/1403 Darlene Van Alstyne Town of Provincetown 260 Commercial Street Provincetown, MA 02657 Dear Ms. Van Alstyne: I have received the petition of Robert Casper appealing the response of the Town of Provincetown (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Casper requested "letter(s) or any other form of communication the Pier Corporation sent pertaining to its conjecture(s), opinion(s), conclusion(s) and decision(s) about sailing for all Provincetown," as well as work sheets and calculations of an identified individual. Unsatisfied with the Town's response, Mr. Casper petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated October 1, 2018. Mr. Casper may appeal the substantive nature of the Town's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
