Murray Supervisor of Records October 9, 20 18 SPRl811424 Maureen Vilanova Records Access Officer City of Cambridge Law Department 795 Massachusetts Avenue Cambridge, MA 02 139 Dear Ms. Vilanova: I have received the petition of Sue Reinert appealing the response of the City of Cambridge Law Department (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, 5 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Reinert requested: "a copy of a contract between the City and a consultant regarding a review of 'cured-in-place' (CIPP) for use in potable water applications." On September 19,2018 , the City informed Ms. Reinert that it is withholding the contract under Exemption (d) of the Public Records Law. As a result, Ms. Reinert petitioned the Supervisor of Records (Supervisor), and this appeal was opened. On October 2,201 8, after this appeal was opened, the City provided Ms. Reinert with the responsive consultant's contract. The City's letter that accompanied the contract states, "[slince you made your request, the contact has been signed, and the signed contract is therefore now being provided to you." Conclusion Accordingly, given that the City has provided Ms. Reinert with the responsive record, I consider this appeal closed. Sincerely, u Rebecca S.
