Murray Sul~ewisorof Records October 9,2018 SPR1811429 Ms. Helena Rafferty Deputy Chief of Police Town of Canton- Police Department 1492 Washington Street Canton, MA 02021 Dear Deputy Chief Rafferty: I have received the petition of Charles Dyous appealing the response of the Town of Canton Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L, c. 66, 5 10A; see 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Dyous requested copies of interviews, notes, and investigative reports from the Department. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, this office was notified on October 8,2018 that a response was provided to Mr. Dyous by the Department. Consequently, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Dyous may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
