The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords October 3, 2018 SPR18/1430 Thomas Calter III Town Administrator Town of Kingston 26 Evergreen Street Kingston, MA 02364 Dear Mr. Calter: I have received the petition of Susan Mumford appealing the response of the Town of Kingston (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on September 14, 2018 Ms. Mumford requested "a copy of the appraisals for the Davis Property." The Town responded to her request on September 19, 2018 indicating the responsive record was being withheld "under the executive session privilege." Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, this office was notified on October 1, 2018 that the Town provided another response to Ms. Mumford on September 24, 2018. In its September 24th response, the Town indicates it provided Ms. Mumford with the responsive record. Whereas this matter was opened based on the Town's September 19th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Mumford may appeal the substantive nature of the Town's September 24th response with ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, ~y~ Supervisor of Records cc: Susan Mumford One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre• pre@sec.state.ma.us
