Hahn appealing the response of the town of Stoughton (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § IOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1): Specifically, Mr. Hahn requested, "copies of correspondence and any related documents referred to in the first paragraph of the enclosed March 13th memorandum from Thomas McGrath to Noreen O' Toole." Previous Appeal This appeal is the subject of a previous case. See SPR18/1332 (September 18, 2018). I closed SPR18/1332 by ordering the Town to provide a supplemental response to the requestor, in a manner consistent with the order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations without delay. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I was informed that Attorney Brian J. Winner of Mead, Talerman & Costa, LLC is assisting the Town in this matter. I also learned that the Town is working on a response. Order Accordingly, the Town is ordered to provide Mr. Hahn with a response to the request, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations without delay. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us Please be advised, failure to do so may result in referral of this matter to the Office of the Attorney General (AGO).
