The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords November 1, 2018 SPR18/1567 Trooper Alena Sullivan MA State Police Office of the Chief Legal Counsel 470 Worcester Road Framingham, MA 01702 Dear Trooper Sullivan: I have received the petition of Mikhael El-Bayeh appealing the nonresponse of the Massachusetts Department of State Police (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. El-Bayeh requested "a listing of all Massachusetts Uniform Citations issued by the Massachusetts State Police for a two year period immediately preceding the date of this request." Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. El-Bayeh petitioned this office and SPRl 8/1543 was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Department provided Mr. El-Bayeh a response dated October 25, 2018. Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. El-Bayeh may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
