Hass, Esq. of The Law Offices ofB urton Hass appealing the response of the Department of Children and Families (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Attorney Hass requested a copy of all records pertaining to several identified persons, including those in the care, custody and protection of the Department. In his October 25, 2018 petition to the Supervisor of Records (Supervisor), Attorney Hass indicates, "[t]o date, I have not received any documents. At one point, the [Department] requested a HIP AA medical release. This was sent, but I still received nothing." As a result, this appe_al was opened. In a November 14th email, you informed this office that the request was fulfilled. Accordingly, given the Department has provided the responsive records to Attorney Hass, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. Sincerely, Rebecca S.
