Murray Supervisor of Records November 30, 2018 SPR18/1707 Brendan Kennedy Records Access Officer Middlesex Sheriffs Office 400 Mystic Ave, 4th Floor Medford, MA 02155 Dear Mr. Kennedy: I have received the petition of Adam Bradley appealing the nomesponse of the Middlesex Sheriffs Office (Office) to his request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Specifically, Mr. Bradley requested three categories of records related to detainee visits by named individuals. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Bradley petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that a representative from the Office intends on providing Mr. Bradley with a written response. Said response must be made in accordance with the Public Records Law and its Access Regulations within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Bradley may appeal the substantive nature of the Office's response within ninety days.
