The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records November 23, 2018 SPR18/1711 Lorraine J. Rousseau, Esq. Bristol County Sheriff's Office 400 Faunce Comer Road North Dartmouth, MA 02747 Dear Attorney Rousseau: I have received the petition from Todd Wallack of the Boston Globe appealing the response from the Bristol County Sheriff's Office (Office) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Wallack requested "[r]ecordings of all telephone calls placed by or to Aaron Hernandez while he was staying in the Bristol County Jail and House of Correction in Dartmouth." Having not received a substantive response from the Office, Mr. Wallack appealed to this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, this office was provided with a response from the Office on November 21, 2018 which was also provided to Mr. Wallack. Based upon this response, as well as a email from Mr. Wallack on November 21st stating "I wish to withdraw my appeal against the Bristol County Sheriff's office," I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Sincerely, Rebecca S.
