Records Access Officer Department of Public Utilities- Legal Division One South Station, 5th Floor Boston, MA 02110 Dear Attorney Cottle: I have received the petition from Brian McNiff, Esq. appealing the response from the Department of Public Utilities - Legal Division (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Attorney McNiffrequested records concerning "Police-Ordered Towing." Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, this office was provided with a subsequent response from the Department on December 20, 2018 which was provided to Attorney McNiff. Based upon this response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Attorney McNiff may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety days.
