Canales City Administrator 10 Main Street North Adams, MA 01247 Dear Mr. Michael Canales: I have received the petition of Mr. Gerrit Blauvelt appealing the nomesponse of the Town of North Adams (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Blauvelt requested: "1. Exhibit A property map (1999 project, 2003 project, current map). Airport property maps including easement purchased and federal grants purchased under. ... the current map as well as the map from the 1999-2001 North Adams clearing project and the 2003 Williamstown clearing project ... 2. Information about the rationale behind the renegotiation of all North Adams easements on Hawthorne Avenue and Versailles Avenue in 1999-2001. 3. Information regarding the North Adams contract with Gale & Associates for their work with the airport for the 1999 and 2003 projects" Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Town provided Mr. Blauvelt a response to his request. Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Blauvelt may appeal the substantive nature of the Town's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
