The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records February 25, 2019 SPR19/0256 Kathleen Deree Town of Weymouth-Police Department 140 Winter Street Weymouth, MA 0218 8 Dear Ms. Deree: I have received the petition of Andrew Mclssac appealing the response of the Town of Weymouth-Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Mclssac requested "[a]ll police incident reports and log entries associated with 55 Fogg Raod, Weymouth, MA 02190 created on January 31, 2019." The Department responded to his request providing redacted responsive records. Subsequent to the intervention by a Public Records Division staff attorney, I learned that the Department provided another response to Mr. Mclssac on February 19, 2019, including a version of the responsive records with fewer redactions. Whereas this appeal was opened based on the Department's previous response, I will now consider this appeal closed. Mr. Mclssac may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's February 19th response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, ~~ --a Rebecca S.
