The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords February 26, 2019 SPR19/0317 John Chistolini Conservatory Lab Charter School 2120 Dorchester Avenue Dorchester MA 02124 Dear Mr. Chistolini: I have received the petition of Douglas Moser of NBCI OB oston appealing the nonresponse of the Conservatory Lab Charter School (School) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Moser requested records regarding relaxation, calm down, or time-out rooms. Having received no response, Mr. Moser petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the proper agent for handling public record requests never saw the inquiry. Nonetheless, after the School was made aware of this appeal, a representative within the School noted their willingness to provide a response. Said response shall be made in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Access Regulations and this order within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Moser may appeal the substantive nature of the School's response within ninety days. See 950 Sincerely, Rebecca S.
