G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Moser requested records regarding relaxation, calm down, or time-out rooms. Having received no response, Mr. Moser petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the proper agent for handling public record requests never saw the inquiry. Nonetheless, after the School was made aware of this appeal, a representative within the School noted their willingness to provide a response. Said response shall be made in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Access Regulations and this order within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Moser may appeal the substantive nature of the School's response within ninety days.
