G. L. c. 66, § 1 OA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Specifically, Mr. Jehlen requested: "Any and all records, including without limitation all letters, memoranda, reports, specifications, narrative and/or graphic scenarios, cost estimates, agendas & notes of meetings, emails, and text messages, sent or received by Interim Superintendent Laura Perille or the 12 members of the BPS BuildBPS team or City of Boston officials for the period of time from September, 2018, to December 19, 2018, that pertain to space options that were explored for keeping West Roxbury Academy and/or Urban Science Academy students together including space in BPS-owned buildings, space in non-BPS owned buildings, and the potential use of temporary portable modular educational facilities." Under the Public Records Law and the Access Regulations (Regulations) all requests for public records must be met with a response within 10 business days ofreceipt of the request. G. L. c. 66, § lO(a)-(b). The response may contain, among other things, an offer to provide records, a fee estimate for provision of the records, or a denial. G. L. c. 66, § lO(b). All records custodians must comply with both the Public Records Law and the Regulations with respect to the timeliness of response. As of the date of this letter, it is my understanding that the City has not provided Mr. Jahlen a response to his request for records.
