The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records March 18, 2019 SPR19/0499 Helen Rush-Lloyd Records Access Officer Massachusetts Department of Public Health 250 Washington Street Boston, MA 02108 Dear Ms. Rush-Lloyd: I have received the petition of Lindsey Vickers appealing the nonresponse of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on February 5, 2019, Ms. Vickers requested "final decisions and orders for complaints made against nurses licensed in Massachusetts from October 1, 2014 to December 31, 2016." Having received no response, Ms. Vickers petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division, this office was notified that the Department plans on providing Ms. Vickers with responsive records by March 22, 2019. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Department's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Vickers may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
