Murray Supervisor ofR ecords March 15, 2019 SPR19/544 Kate Silvia Director of Communications Department of Correction 50 Maple Street, Suite 3 Milford, MA 01757 Dear Ms. Silvia: I have received the petition of Benjamin Silva appealing the nonresponse of the Department of Correction (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Silva requested records regarding an identified contract. Having received no response, Mr. Silva petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated March 14, 2019. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Department's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Silva may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
