He said I was and that it stemmed from a time in October of 2018 when the management at the airport was supposed to have the access gate open at a certain time because my business located on the airport was hosting an FAA safety Seminar. When I found that the gate was not opened at the time requested and agreed upon I opened it and blocked the eye so it would remain open for the food delivery and for the presenter to get in. Checks I sent to the Management for fees at the airport are not being cashed so I went to the Managers office to ask why. I was given a run around of different reasons which were all untrue. The final reason was that they were waiting for a determination from the City Solicitor as to whether there was a breach. At that time I presented the manager with this written request. Previous to me asking I was not notified of any complaint against me. It appears now that the manager is trying to delay giving me the requested documents for some reason. The documents originated at the Managers office, the Security video comes from the managers office. The excuse that the Solicitor was on vacation is a moot point since the legal department does not shut down when he is away. Thanks. February, 21 2019 Re: Massachusetts Public Records Request Dear Jan, Airport Manager Taunton Municipal Airport East Taunton, MA 02718 This is a request under the Massachusetts Public Records Law (M. G. L. Chapter 66, Section 10). I am requesting that I be provided a copy of the following records: 1.Video of the incident including video of whomever it was that removed the item keeping the gate open. Include Dates and Times in all answers. 2.Explanation of how it was known that the gate was open and why someone was there to check it. 3. All correspondence of the alleged incident between the party reporting it and the manager as well -· as·anyanaa1r·corre·spon·aencebetweentne·Manager/ commissi·on; Citytaw ·department;the-FAA and Mass Dot that has anything to do with the alleged incident. 4. There was no manager at the time of the incident and the Airport Commission never appointed an interim manager. With regards to those facts please include a complete timeline of events and persons that brought this to the managers desk and ultimately to the Airport Commission who voted to send it to the City Law Department without having been told what the incident was. 5. Explanation of why the gate was not open at the agreed upon time. I recognize that you may charge reasonable costs for copies, as well as for personnel time needed to comply with this request. The Public Records Law requires you to provide me with a written response within 10 business days. If you cannot comply with my request, you are statutorily required to provide an explanation in writing.
