Murray Supervisor ofR ecords April3,2019 SPR19/0626 Daniel Sheridan Assistant Superintendent/General Counsel Berkshire County Sherriff s Office 467 Chesfilre Road Pittsfield, MA 01201 Dear Mr. Sheridan: I have received the petition of Kade Crockford appealing the nonresponse of the Berkshire County Sheriffs Office (Office) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Specifically, Kade Crockford requested identified records relating to the use of facial-recognition products or services. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Office provided Kade Crockford a response to their request. Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Kade Crockford may appeal the substantive nature of the Office's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
