Murray Supervisor ofR ecords April 8, 2019 SPR18/628 Chief Kenneth Green Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority-Transit Police Department 240 Southampton Street Boston, MA 02118 Dear Chief Green: I have received the petition of Kade Crockford of the American Civil Liberties Union of Massachusetts appealing the non-response of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority Transit Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically on March 7, 2019, Ms. Crockford requested identified records relating to the Department and facial recognition products and services. As of the date of this letter, it is my understanding that the Department has not provided Ms. Crockford a response to her request. Order Accordingly, the Department is ordered to provide Ms. Crockford with a response to the request, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations without delay.
