Box 455 Barnstable, MA 02630 Dear Attorney Miltimore: I have received the petition of Gregory Smith appealing the non-response of the Office of the District Attorney - Cape & Island District (District) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically on January 26, 2019, Mr. Smith modified his request. In his January 26th letter, Mr. Smith states: • "[p] lease provide the names and contact information for all the AD As employed by the Cape & Island District Attorney's office. By 'contact information,' I mean telephone numbers, email addresses, postal addresses and fax numbers ; • The news item on your web site was about training for the Dennis Police Department. The dates and names of trainees for similar training provided to the Barnstable Police Department during calendar years 2016 and 2017." As of the date of this letter, it is my understanding that the District has not provided Mr. Smith a response to his request for records. Order Accordingly, the District is ordered to provide Mr. Smith with a response to the request, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations without delay. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office.
