The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords April 24, 2019 SPR19/764 Sean W. Farrell, Esq. Office of the Chief Legal Counsel Massachusetts State Police 470 Worcester Road Framingham, MA 01702 Dear Attorney Farrell: I have received the petition of Mason Woolley appealing the nonresponse of the Massachusetts State Police (Police) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Woolley requested special state police licensing information pertaining to two specifically identified individuals. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Woolley petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Police responded to Mr. Woolley's request with a response sent on April 24, 2019. Whereas this appeal was opened as a result of the Police's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Woolley may appeal the substantive nature of the Police's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Sincerely, ~~ Rebecca S.
